Gifts with Heart launched a yearly initiative, coined the Build-A-Thon, to help create and present gifts for children in need at the holidays. Participants help make the gifts, which encourages self-confidence and social awareness. Since it’s launch in October 2004, Gifts with Heart has worked with over 60,000 people to contribute 35,000 handmade gifts.
